Goodreads 2015 Reading Challenge – The Burning Room by Michael Connelly

Challenge

Four down, thirty-one left to complete my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

I just finished reading The Burning Room by Michael Connelly and found it interesting, yet the same.

If you’re a Detective Harry Bosch fan, you will like this book no matter what; but I think it’s time for a change and some fresh new ideas to keep this series alive. After 19 books based on the Bosch character, I believe it’s time for Michael Connelly to retire Harry from the LAPD and have him began a new career as a private investigator.  This would bring new life to the character and the possibility of some intriguing new cases outside the realm of confinement that the LAPD policy and politics currently provides.

Interesting plot, still a book worth reading.

RATING: 4.0 out of 5 stars

NEXT BOOK: By Its Cover – Donna Leon
