John: I just bought your short story A Reason To Kill and I haven’t had time to start it yet. I am an Indie and I live in The Villages. I write PI who done its. My first book is on Kindle “Harper’s Rules”
I am just starting a novella to introduce my books it is going to be a freebie, then Harper’s Rules will be the first novel and I’ve started on the second novel. How do I get Beta Readers?
    Good luck,
    Don

    Hi Don

Thank you for buying my book.

As for beta readers, I can’t help you with that because I don’t have any beta readers. I started this blog about a year ago and have managed to get quite a few ‘followers’, I guess that’s about as close to a group of beta readers that I have. A number of people who follow this blog purchase my books and some of them leave reviews, but I have no way of knowing how many actually do either of those things.

Sorry I can’t be of more assistance. The hardest thing about being an indie author is marketing your books. It’s way more difficult than actually writing them. 🙂

    I wish you much success.
